ANNALEA VAN NES

Born in 1986, Annalea grew up in the countryside of West Sussex, before moving to the States to pursue art at Indiana University. There, she graduated with a BFA honours in Painting (2009). Since then, Annalea has produced and sold work on both sides of the Atlantic, ranging from flat to 3D, specialising in oil painting and pastel drawing. Her interest in the nuances of people contributes to the focused attention and sensitivity of her portrait work, while her passion for the natural world presents itself through expressive mark making and bold colour choices. Annalea currently paints, adventures and rides her bike in Bristol, where she is keen to carve out further creative opportunities.
